OUR MISSION

FOSTERING HEALING, RESILIENCE AND HOPE

The Christian A. Enrico Foundation (C.A.E.), was started after the loss of their 17yr old son Christian, and is directed by Anthony and Maria Enrico, and is committed to help bereaved families that have experienced the tragic death of a child.

Who Are We

Maria and Anthony whose laughter once echoed through sunlit rooms, now plagued by the emptiness of the absence of their beloved son Christian Anthony. Each day is a battle against the crushing weight of sorrow, but within the depths of their despair, they find a flicker of hope — a shared desire to turn their pain into purpose with the formation of The Christian A. Enrico Foundation( C.A.E.).

At The Christian A. Enrico Foundation, we are more than an organization; we are a compassionate community built on shared experiences and unwavering support. Our team comprises and understands the depth of pain and the complexities of grief that accompany such a profound tragedy of losing a child. Our collective commitment is rooted in spirituality and empathy,

The Foundation’s mission is not merely to provide Financial assistance but to foster a sense of belonging, where families find comfort in knowing they are not alone. Through our programs, support groups and advocacy efforts, we strive to honor the memory of every precious child and to illuminate a path forward, however faint it may seem. Together, we hold onto hope and walk alongside one another offering light in the darkness.

Christian’s Story

The day my life had changed forever was March 31 2023.  It was around 9:40PM, I was sleeping and suddenly I was awakened by a loud scream from my husband Anthony.  He walked into our bedroom crying and told me that our son Aaron called and said Christian was in a car accident with his friend Liam, and they both died.

Christian was on spring break from Wayne Hills High School and was on his way from New Jersey to upstate New York to meet his brother Aaron for a weekend of fun and excitement at his cabin.

I know that I am his mother but Christian was such a kind, compassionate, thoughtful, loving and caring soul.   Christian always said that “We should help people when they need it”.    Ever since my children were little, I taught them to be loving , caring and helpful to everyone but especially the needy and Christian showed this in all aspects of his life.  Anthony and I never knew how those words would lead to the formation of the Christian A. Enrico Foundation.   Our lives now have a new meaning.  We didn’t want his life to die with our son, instead we want his memory to become the heartbeat of this Foundation.
