Maria and Anthony Enrico know the unimaginable pain of losing a child. Their beloved son, Christian Anthony, brought joy and light into every room—until the day their world changed forever. In the depths of grief, they faced a choice: remain in darkness, or turn their sorrow into purpose. From that decision, The Christian A. Enrico Foundation (C.A.E.) was born.
At the Christian A. Enrico Foundation, we support families facing the sudden, devastating loss of a child. We are not just an organization—we are a community of people who truly understand this heartbreak. Guided by compassion, empathy, and faith, our mission is to stand beside families in their most difficult moments.
Through counseling, support groups, advocacy, and financial assistance, we help families navigate grief, honor their child’s memory, and find connection in the midst of loss. Together, we create a space where no parent walks this path alone—and where, even in the darkest times, hope still lives.

The day my life changed forever was March 31st, 2023. It was around 9:40 PM. I was sleeping when suddenly I was awakened by a loud scream from my husband, Anthony. He walked into our bedroom crying and told me that our son, Aaron, had called. He said Christian was in a car accident with his friend, Liam—and that they both had died.
Christian was on spring break from Wayne Hills High School. He was driving from New Jersey to upstate New York to meet his brother, Aaron, for a weekend of fun and excitement at his cabin.
I know I’m his mother, but Christian truly was a kind, compassionate, thoughtful, loving, and caring soul. He always said, “We should help people when they need it.” Ever since my children were little, I taught them to be loving, caring, and helpful to everyone—especially those in need. Christian lived this lesson in every part of his life.
Anthony and I never knew how much those words would mean, or how they would lead to the formation of the Christian A. Enrico Foundation. Our lives now have a new meaning. We didn’t want his life to end with our son—we wanted his memory to become the heartbeat of this foundation.
